Online Physiotherapy, Wherever You Live in India

You don't need a good physiotherapy clinic nearby. Dr. Jyoti Bajpai (MPT, NIRTAR) assesses you on a video call, explains what is driving your pain and builds a home exercise plan with you — then sends a written report within 24 hours. ₹1,999 for a 45-minute consultation.

Is it right for you?

Which problems can be treated online?

Most muscle, joint and posture problems can be assessed and treated by video. Some cannot, and it is better to know that before you book.

Usually works well online

  • Back pain, sciatica and slipped disc (once serious causes are ruled out)
  • Neck pain, cervical spondylosis and desk or phone posture pain
  • Frozen shoulder, rotator cuff and shoulder impingement
  • Knee pain and knee osteoarthritis
  • Sports injuries — sprains, strains, runner’s knee, tennis elbow
  • Rehabilitation at home after a fracture or surgery, once your surgeon has cleared you
  • Children’s posture, flat feet and scoliosis exercise programmes

Needs in-person or urgent care first

  • A new injury where a fracture is possible — get an X-ray first
  • Numbness in the groin or loss of bladder or bowel control — go to an emergency department now
  • Chest pain, breathlessness or a sudden severe headache — emergency care, not physiotherapy
  • Problems that need hands-on treatment, for which you will be pointed to in-person care

Does online physiotherapy work?

  • 37 clinical trials, 4,288 participants. Telerehabilitation improved every clinical outcome studied versus control (SMD 0.24-0.91), and when compared specifically against face-to-face rehabilitation the difference was not statistically significant — i.e. comparable, not superior. It was also USD 89.55 cheaper per person. Molina-Garcia et al., 2023

Questions patients ask

Can a physiotherapist really assess me over a video call?

For most muscle and joint problems, yes. Dr. Bajpai watches you move, guides you through strength, range-of-motion and nerve-tension tests, and asks the questions an in-clinic assessment would. A 2023 meta-analysis of 37 clinical trials found telerehabilitation for musculoskeletal problems gave results comparable to face-to-face rehabilitation. The one thing video cannot do is hands-on treatment.

I live in a small town. Is that a problem?

No. The session is the same whether you are in a metro or a town without a specialist physiotherapist nearby — that is the main reason many patients choose online care. All you need is a phone camera and a mobile data connection.

Will my internet connection be good enough?

An ordinary 4G connection is usually enough for a video session. For the steadiest picture, use Wi-Fi if you have it, or sit near a window where your mobile signal is strongest.

Can I book a session for my parents in another city?

Yes. You can arrange and pay for it, and Dr. Bajpai works directly with your parents in Hindi or English. You can join the call or be kept updated on WhatsApp if your parents agree.

What does a consultation cost, and what do I get?

A 45-minute video consultation is ₹1,999. It includes a full assessment, an explanation of what is causing the problem, an exercise plan you practise on the call, a written report within 24 hours and WhatsApp support between sessions. A 3-session package is ₹2,999. The first 15-minute call to check whether online physiotherapy suits your problem is free.

What if online physiotherapy is not right for me?

Dr. Bajpai will tell you on the free first call, before you pay anything, and tell you what kind of in-person care or test to ask for locally.
